Nalu Sheppard is a 17-year-old competitive surfer from Sunset Beach on Oʻahu’s North Shore. Growing up in one of the world’s premier surf destinations, he has developed a passion for powerful waves and competitive surfing.

A career highlight came at Sunset Beach, where Nalu scored a 9.17-point ride to defeat Championship Tour surfer Jackson Bunch in the 2025 Sunset QS. He also earned second place at the inaugural ILH High School Surfing Championships, the first official season of high school surfing in Hawaiʻi.
